American-born, Estonia-based Paul Beaudoin—a composer and painter associated with the Wandelweiser collective, and whose innovative explorations have birthed a hypnotic body of work aptly named "soundfields." Within these evocative works lie fixed electronic soundscapes, casting an ambient aura against which performers sensitively “draw” their sounds. The notated musical score generously allows performers to engage intimately with the electronic elements, resulting in a nuanced interplay of lines and sonorities.

In "the complex responsibility of a simple line," a pianist traverses a rich harmonic terrain, delicately moving through fragile, sustained tones, weaving a narrative that explores the vast expanse of the keyboard.

On the other hand, "seven times fall" presents a unique twist—an eight-page musical journey where the performer, intriguingly, brings forth only seven pages in a randomized sequence. One chosen page is to be repeated, adding an element of delightful surprise and ensuring each performance, while sharing similar roots, remains a truly distinct experience.
